Popradské pleso is on the red marked hiking path leading through the forest up to the lake. It is 4,4km long easy walk suitable even for families with young children. One way trip takes not more than 2 hours. Check out the map here: https://mapy.cz/s/1Hc7l. The Symbolic Cemetery lies at the opposite side of the lake, which is dedicated to the victims of the High Tatras. You’ll see it during an easy walk around the lake.
If you are looking for an undemanding and not long hike in the Tatras, you should definitely go to Mlynická Valley to the Skok waterfall. This waterfall with a height of 25 meters is the fourth highest, but clearly the largest in the whole Tatras. Touristly marked path to the waterfall Skok begins at the railway station in Štrbské Pleso (about 5km). The path to the Skok falls elevates very slowly. The terrain is not technically demanding and you can manage the route even with smaller children.
The bus will take you on a trip to see Belianska cave – the largest cave open to public in High Tatras, circuit length more than 1.7 km (2 hour walk in total)
